ROCKIN’ THROUGH THE OKANAGAN:
Join us for a fun-filled, 2 day family adventure, exploring how BC was assembled. We'll collect crystals, gold and gem materials as we follow ancient coastlines turned to mountains. Trips start Saturday in Kelowna or Osoyoos, end Sunday in Grand Forks. On day 1 we'll collect crystals and serpentine, while exploring the fascinating geologic history of the Okanagan valley. We'll camp near Osoyoos, (great motels available for non-campers) and enjoy an evening edible geology program. On day two we'll collect pretty copper minerals, then spend the rest of the day finding fabulous fluorite and other crystals at Rock Candy Mountain. Head home at your own pace.
